Is Lopes Mendes Beach worth the effort?

Yes. Almost 3 km of fine white sand, emerald-green sea and preserved Atlantic Forest. Tip: go early to enjoy the beach at its emptiest.

Does the boat drop you right on the sand at Lopes Mendes?

Landing is at Pouso/Mangues Beach, with a short walk to Lopes Mendes. Straight onto the sand, only by speedboat via the Super Sul route (on request).

Does the tour happen even if it rains?

Yes. Tours depart normally, even on rainy days. They are only interrupted in cases involving passenger safety, such as rough seas — and in those situations we notify you as early as possible.
